Reservations must be done at least 48 hours in advance. Tours depart from specific meeting points; we will advise which is the closest to your hotel.

We start out with the city tour of Colonial Quito in the morning.

In the afternoon, we continue north of Quito to the official Equatorial Monument (entrance fee included) or “Complejo Mitad del Mundo” to commemorate the research carried out by the First French Geodesic Expedition of 1736 that confirmed the earth’s 12-mile bulge.

You will have some free time to enjoy the optional visits inside this complex, such as the ethnographic display of Ecuador’s indigenous cultures, or visit the Inti Ñan Museum that straddles latitude zero.
