The Nuevo Mundo Expeditions Family
We’ve grown to know Ecuador & Peru best!
Nuevo Mundo arranged a two week tour for our multi-family group of 11. We had very knowledgeable and informative guides who provided us with the history and customs of Ecuador. We experienced both full day and overnight trips. The accommodations and amenities were outstanding. I would recommend Nuevo Mundo for the diversity of their tour offerings and look forward to returning sometime soon.
We are writing to thank you for the outstanding trip to Ecuador. Our visit to Quito, the Galapagos Islands, the Amazon and the Central Highlands was a highlight of our lives. Our incredible cruise aboard the yacht San Jose in the Galapagos, an incredible World Heritage Site, the historic sights and fine restaurants of Quito, and the lush beauty of the Amazon experienced from La Selva Lodge, were simply spectacular. And, oh yes, the Black Sheep Inn, the wonderful eco-tourism lodge in the Highlands, deserves a gold star. We have often said that the wonderful people we meet on our trips are often remembered long after landscapes are forgotten. In this case, the people of Ecuador as well as the staff of the establishments which hosted us were a memorable match for the never-to-be-forgotten natural environments we experienced. Thank you. We recommend others to Nuevo Mundo Expeditions most enthusiastically.
I'd like to thank you for assisting us in arranging the tour to the Amazon and Cotopaxi, we've enjoyed both trips. On the Cotopaxi tour, the guide was very polite and helpful. Though the itinerary from the description that you've provided to us and the actual events were slightly off. On the actual trip, we boarded a train from Quito to Cotopaxi and the ride provided beautiful views for Cotopaxi. The lunch took place at the Hacienda La Cienega hotel, which was very lovely, everyone thought the hotel was absolutely charming. On the Amazon trip, the lodge that we stayed had a very good program to provide guests good opportunities to observe wildlife daily, those were the highlights of this trip. Our guide was very experienced in spotting wildlife for us.
We had a fantastic time in Ecuador. You looked after us very well indeed. We enjoyed Napo [Wildlife Center] the best. Paddling two hours up the creek was very special. Everyone enjoyed the walk at Bellavista [Cloud Forest Reserve] even though we are not bird enthusiasts. The boys enjoyed the mountain biking at Cotopaxi but we were so closely followed by the cars that Hannah and I gave up fairly rapidly. Ecuador was a perfect introduction to South America and I am sure we will be back. Many thanks for all your work making our trip a success.
My whole trip was great. I had a really good time and the planning was perfect with the days I had to work with. La Selva Lodge was great. The whole staff is very welcoming and friendly. The Millenium cruise was great. The sailing was nice and comfortable, all the locations we stopped for hikes was good and fun!!! Very happy! The Black Sheep was nice but my time there was so short. I arrived late the first night and the owner was waiting for me with dinner, which was amazing!!! Did a 20km hike the next day starting at the top of Quilotoa. That was so very beautiful. Overall I think it's a bit pricy for 12 days but I will never forget the good time I had all of these 12 days. Thank you so much for your good work and help making discover beautiful Ecuador.
