Terms & conditions

Bookings and payments:

Bookings made 60 days or more before departure: A deposit of 30% is required to confirm the booking. Final balance is due 30 days before departure. If the payment is not received on time, the space(s) will be automatically released.

Bookings made 30 days or less before departure: Full payment is required to confirm the booking.

For Galapagos expeditions: Varies according to cruise/hotel.

Cancellations:

Cancellations made 60 days or more before departure: Full deposit will be refunded.

Cancellations made 59 to 30 days before departure: Full deposit will be forfeited as cancellation penalty.

Cancellations made 29 to 15 days before departure: 50% of total payment will be charged as penalty.

Cancellations made 14 days or less before departure: Full payment will be forfeited as cancellation penalty.

For Galapagos expeditions: Varies according to cruise/hotel.

Special cases for cancellations:

If the trip is cancelled 60 days or less before departure due to sickness (medical certificate must be presented), 30% of the total payment will be charged as penalty. If the trip is rescheduled 60 days or less prior to departure due to force majeure (e.g. natural disasters), 20% of the total payment will be forfeited as penalty and the difference will be kept as credit for the next trip. This might not apply to Galapagos tours.
